Mamluk Six-Point Arabesque Panel

Mamluk Six-Point Arabesque Panel

Laser-cut from layered wood, this wall piece re-imagines the six-point hexagram lattice that decorates late-Mamluk mashrabiya screens in Cairo. Interlocking stars and cusped circles frame small vine motifs, while a reflective backing lets light glint through the cut-outs just as daylight once filtered into medieval courtyards.
