Drawn in graphite on warm, fibrous paper, this preliminary study re-imagines the Gothic trefoil window as a living form. Interlaced ribs rise like stone tracery, framing leaf-like lobes that curl inward and outward in quiet rhythm. Ghosted construction circles and diagonals reveal the underlying compass work, while delicate songbirds and vine tendrils break free of the geometry, hinting at the dialogue between cathedral architecture and the natural world that inspired it.
