Water-colour and pencil revive the blue-green zellij of the Mexuar Hall in the Alhambra. Five contiguous 8-point star blocks—each lifted from the Nasrid tile grid—shift from deep indigo to jade and dusty rose. Tiny goldfinches dart across the pattern, their flight softening the crisp Andalusian geometry while faint compass lines hint at the draftsmanship beneath the glaze-like washes.
